Principal's Message
As we draw to a close for the year, I reflect on the incredible achievements and memorable moments that have defined 2024 at our school. It's been a year filled with growth, learning, and celebration, and I would like to take this opportunity to highlight some key moments and offer my thanks to all those who made them possible.
Year 6 Farewell
A true highlight of the year was our Year 6 Farewell. It was a wonderful occasion to celebrate the achievements and journey of our graduating students. They enjoyed their presentation, dinner in the train and disco. We are incredibly proud of how they have grown, not only academically, but also as individuals. Their contributions to the school community have been significant, and it was a pleasure to send them off with such warmth and pride. We wish them every success in their future endeavors as they move on to high school.
Celebration Assemblies
Last week we held three exceptional Celebration Assemblies that showcased the dedication and hard work of our students. These assemblies were an opportunity to recognise academic, sporting, and personal achievements, and I was thrilled by the level of enthusiasm and pride our students demonstrated. The behavior of our students during these events was exemplary, and I extend my thanks to everyone for maintaining such a positive and respectful atmosphere. It was clear that our school values of being caring, cooperative, demonstrating courtesy and commitment were present in every interaction. I would like to thank our special guests who joined us to celebrate. A particular mention goes to Michael Kemp, whose involvement in our events was appreciated. Thank you, Michael, for your time and contribution.
We are also deeply grateful to the generous sponsors who supported our school by donating awards. Your kindness plays a significant role in motivating our students and reinforcing the value of hard work and achievement. Your continued support is truly appreciated.
Aldavilla Swimming Carnival
Congratulations to the students who competed at the Aldavilla Swimming Carnival. Your commitment and sportsmanship were outstanding, and I am proud of each and every one of you for representing our school. A special congratulations to our Age Champions, who exemplified dedication, teamwork, and excellence in the pool.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we come to the close of this year, I would like to remind everyone that the 2025 school year will commence on Thursday 6 February. We look forward to welcoming all our students back for another year of learning, growth, and achievement.
On behalf of the staff, I wish you all a restful and enjoyable holiday season. Thank you for your continued support throughout 2024, and we look forward to another fantastic year ahead.
