Electronic PRESS KIT (EPK)

TCRXP consists of Tim Cowan, of Loudonville, OH, band creator & multi-instrumentalist, drummer Zack Foust, of Wooster, OH. In 2015 Tim stepped away from traditional three and four-piece bands in Columbus, OH to start writing new material that would eventually become designed to be preformed as a two-piece band. Splitting the guitar signal into a separate bass amp, freed the need of having a dedicated bass player. With a background in upbeat music he knew these songs would need to have dynamic rhythms, at which point brought on drummer Zack Foust, (also from the Columbus, OH rock scene) to help incorporate this vision. However, after five years of this approach it became clear additional help was needed to fill out the extra layers that were being created during the songwriting process, for live performances. For 2023 shows, they hired Devin Howard to help fill out that sound. 2024, saw the band take one year off in order to pursue personal endeavors. However, before 2025, the pair heads back into their lab to record more music and ultimately share it in a live situation as much as possible. Their sound is comparable to the likes of Muse, Rush and Blink 182.

Since their initial EP release called 'ONE' in 2018, the band has gone on to drop multiple releases, usually at the rate or one or two per year. In 2019 they released 'Robinhoods Reverse,' along with 'Give'em Some More,' and a cover of "Less Than," by Nine Inch Nails right behind. In 2020 they released 'Hard Decisions' which featured songs inspired by their usual political observations but inspired by jazz funerals in New Orleans. Early in 2021, they dropped a new mix of older songs that they took back to the studio at the mixing stage to correct things that felt needed improving. In May of 2021, they released 'Evil Equals,' which also showcased them working with producers (Electric Tardigrade and Noiser Too) as the release features an electronic remix of the title track. In 2022, 'Wolves At The Door' dropped, which featured two new songs, and in early 2023, 'Therapy, Drugs, Hopes and Dreams' was released, a single that's their slickest sounding release. The band has plans for more upcoming music, which features new originals and includes a collaboration with Electric Tardigrade, called 'Joyride,' released on September 15, 2023.

Riff rock, metal manipulation, and progressive in nature. TCRXP songs feature pronounced staccatos, drop tunings, electronically infused layers and vocals that dig into political satire, sarcasm, the modern man and humanities inner struggles. And there's even some covers too.

Their experienced musicianship combined with a true sense of progressive adventure offer plenty of melodic lines that produce a great show.

Review/Praise for Give'em Some More

However, as happy and positive as it might sound, do not let the cheerful vibe of the song fool you - as always, TCRXP’s music is way deeper than it might seem at first listen. The track’s lyrical themes revolve around some current political topics and thoughts about our world today and about America in particular, creating the perfect balance between the fun and more serious sides of things. - Joanna Beleva, Metal World. Review/Praise for Robinhoods Reverse

The single consists of three songs and compared to their first EP “ONE,” which came out at the end of 2018, it sounds like something completely new, fresh, much more neat and compositionally perfected. It is becoming clear that TCRXP simply cannot tolerate a single dull moment on any of their recordings - just the opposite. Just like its predecessor “ONE,” “Robinhoods Reverse” is constantly keeping you on the edge of your seat, making you want to hear what comes next immediately. And apparently, this is one of the moments when the combination of just three songs can be as interesting as a full-length album. - Joanna Beleva, Metal World. (Bulgarian)
