Hey everyone! I'm Andrea, a student majoring in VFX. I’ve always been drawn to soft, surreal themes like dreamscapes and fantasy. I love getting lost in imaginary worlds, whether it’s through visuals or just zoning out with a good playlist lol. Because of that, I’ve decided to center my final project around the two themes that inspire me the most.
About my project
When The Heart Beats Gently.
This project is a music video about friendship and grief. It tells the story of a girl who loses someone she loves and is left with a doll as a final gift. At home, she keeps an urn as a quiet reminder of her loss. One day, she takes the doll outside. To her surprise, it turns into a small creature that sees her as its mother. They grow close, but as time passes and the remains fade, the creature becomes weaker. When the last trace is gone, it quietly disappears, turning back into a doll. The remains weren’t just a reminder or a memory. They were the creature’s lifetime.
