DECEMBER 3, 2024 . . Karim Nielsen, CEO of Kolpin Hotels, is proud to announce the appointment of Karolina Lasinska as General Manager at Hotel Sanders. Karolina joined Sanders at the reception desk, just before Sanders celebrated their first anniversary in 2018 – making her one of the longest serving employees at the hotel. I am so proud to step into this new role and lead such an exceptional team. Sanders is not just a hotel. It is a place where every detail reflects the passion and dedication of an amazing team. Over the years, I’ve grown alongside this hotel, and it’s been a privilege to witness how we’ve made our guests feel at home in the heart of Copenhagen,” says Karolina Lasinska, the new General Manager.

For me, Sanders is about more than luxury—it’s about warmth, authenticity, and creating moments that stay with our guests long after they leave. As General Manager, my focus will be on inspiring our team to keep delivering exceptional experiences while continuously elevating what we do best. My aim is to ensure that every guest feels not only welcome but genuinely cared for, continuing the tradition that makes Sanders so unique.”

Karolina graduated from the University of Warsaw. This year, she attended the General Managers Program at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, an intensive executive education program designed for hospitality leaders. It provides valuable insights and practical tools to enhance both guest experiences and team performance. “It was an incredible opportunity to learn from industry leaders and connect with people from all around the world,” says Karolina.

ABOUT KOLPIN HOTELS

The foundation of Kolpin Hotels is based on a passion for arts, architecture, design, and the delivery of an exceptional personal experience for guests – all aimed at creating a strong lifestyle brand. The intention is to offer a kind of quiet luxury in destinations with a strong sense of history and local character. This same sensibility was applied to Hotel Sanders, the first luxury boutique hotel in Copenhagen, as well as to the new Sanders Residence.

Kolpin Hotels has also successfully achieved recognition for two of Denmark’s most stylish beach and bathing hotels – Helenekilde Badehotel, overlooking the breathtaking view of Kattegat in Tisvilde, and Tisvildeleje Strandhotel, located in the same town and built in 1895. Both hotels are well-visited in the charming old fishing village, attracting both locals and tourists.

The latest addition to the hotel group, Roberta's Society in Aarhus, is a natural step in the development of a new brand, where Alexander Kolpin aims to create an atmosphere that demonstrates the possibility of experiencing luxury within a budget-friendly concept.

Going forward, the intention is to establish authentic and unique boutique hotels both in Denmark and internationally, respecting a high level of aesthetics and service while creating a community that connects locals and travelers through art, culture, and design.
