“I think there are some legitimate concerns the government might have about other countries using our data. At the same time, if the government wanted that kind of information, it could buy it easily. So it feels performative to me, but I don't know that this is the least restrictive way of solving this problem. It’s a platform where people find their communities and also make their living. I think the government should consider this decision very carefully.”
