Meditation NOW By SPIRITUAL DEPTH MOVEMENT

A Five-Minute Meditation for Being in the Here and Now

To help you reconnect with the present moment and reinforce your sense of belonging, here's a simple yet powerful five-minute meditation practice:

Find a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle in.

Bring your attention to your breath.

Notice the sensation of air moving in and out of your body.

Don't try to change your breathing; simply observe it.

As you continue to breathe, silently repeat to yourself: "I am here. I belong in this moment."

If your mind wanders, gently bring your focus back to your breath and the affirmation.

Now, expand your awareness to include the sensations in your body.

Feel the weight of your body against the surface you're on, the temperature of the air on your skin.

Silently affirm:

"My body is here, in this place, at this time. I am exactly where I need to be."

Broaden your awareness to include any sounds around you.

Notice them without judgment, simply acknowledging their presence.

Repeat to yourself:

"I am part of this moment, connected to everything around me."

In the final minute, let go of any specific focus and simply rest in the awareness of being.

Allow yourself to feel a sense of peace and belonging.

When you're ready, slowly open your eyes, carrying this sense of presence with you as you return to your day.
