(LIVE FROM HOME) is a PERFORM FROM HOME PROGRAM FOR MUSICIANS that consists of an artist live-streaming a musical performance to Synth House Chicago using Zoom Video Chat on their smartphone & tablet AND a VST in their DAW called ListenTO by Audiomovers. Zoom sends the video, ListenTO sends the audio; we combine the signals on our end (making the setup easier for the performer).

Download ListenTO by Audiomovers, Insert the ListenTO VST on your Master Channel at the end of the chain in your DAW OR Use the ListenTo Standalone application, Subscribe to ListenTO by Audiomovers OR Log-in with the info provided via email, and now you can transmit LIVE 24bit audio straight to us all from your DAW :)

Click “Start Streaming” in ListenTO, Join the Zoom Meeting using your smartphone & tablet by clicking on the Zoom Meeting URL we send you via email.

BEHIND THE SCENES

On our end - we will be screening this performance in real-time ONSITE at Music Box Theatre located in Chicago, Illinois, USA. We will be mixing your Zoom video signal with your ListenTO audio signal, along with other Visual FX to enhance the performance. Think of your Zoom devices as the “audience” or as “the projector screen at the movie theater”.

This setup will be connected to the projector at the movie theater. This is how we are mixing all the media at the venue. (Prototype #1)

Imagine performing for an audience that is gathered here … while you’re at home. Because of Zoom, you can even hear and see the crowd 🤯 TICKET SALES ARE SPLIT EVENLY 4 WAYS between: The Performer, Music Box Theatre, Synth House Chicago, and Taxes/Ticketing Fees/Credit Card Processing Fees [25% each/per ticket sold]. Payment to The Performer will be via PayPal.

What You’ll Need:

  1. Computer connected to a stable internet connection of at least 50mbps. Install ListenTO by Audiomovers on this device (VST OR Standalone Desktop Application). An audio interface is needed to connect all your music gear to the computer (connect an audio mixer to your audio interface if you need more channels for your music gear).
  2. Smartphone AND Tablet connected to a stable internet connection of at least 50mbps. Install Zoom Video Chat on these devices (We’ll send a Zoom Meeting URL. Place devices in DO NOT DISTURB mode. Place smartphone on a tripod OR have someone operate the smartphone as a “handheld” camera using a gimbal stabilizer. KEEP THE SMARTPHONE IN LANDSCAPE MODE). While operating, think of your smartphone as the projector screen at the movie theater.

We’ll email you ListenTO Login info and settings if assistance is needed, along with the Zoom Meeting URL. Join the Zoom Meeting using your smartphone AND tablet. Type in the provided settings for ListenTO on your computer if applicable, copy & paste the ListenTO URL, and email that link to Synth House Chicago @ SH312events@gmail.com
