About the artist:
Nice to meet you! My name is Jasmin (aka. "JK"), I'm from Germany and I love to travel for inspiration! The Picture one the left side shows me in Positano (Amalfi Coast/ Italy) and I directly fell in love with the vibe Napoli and Amalfi Coast gave me.
I started painting at a very young age and decided to quit my Job for an artistic career in 2022. Commissions in portrait and abstract techniques are a big part of my work, but I also enjoy just painting what I like and what comes to my mind. I did most of my Exhibitions in Germany (Darmstadt, Frankfurt, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Mannheim) and I also showcased my latest works in Downers Grove, Chicago (USA).
I always was interested in photography too and did this as a hobby quite a while. Last year I dived into professional photography and taught myself more and more skills to find my personal style.

I really like to create an analogue effect. Vintage looking. Like Time stops for a while.
I believe the key to look very good and natural in photos is when you feel very good and natural!
Being creative with editing and playing around with color to create photos that look more artsy is what i enjoy.
evening hours are very interesting because of the lights. i really love the "golden hour".
For me it's important that you're comfortable so i can capture the most authentic moments.

Sometimes when I see kids play I think to myself "man...that was a nice time. So careless, so free..." But then I found, that being creative this feeling comes back. Even though I'm all grown up (externally 😉) sometimes it's so important to just play. There are so many things to create. I love all of them: Acrylics, Oilpaint, Watercolour, Spraypaint, Textiles, Textures, Pens, Glitter.....
Illustrations with watercolour on paper are a nice way to draw while travelling! there is no "Langeweile" when I'm in the aircraft. To draw means to connect.
