Inspired by my own experience learning to DJ, I created Setera, a software that helps DJs organize their music more intuitively.

My work blends UX design with a deep understanding of sound, rhythm, and how music moves people.

The problem

Current DJ software makes organizing music difficult, offering limited ways to sort tracks by sound, feel, or stems - leaving DJs without the tools they need to build intentional, creative sets.

The research revealed a gap between how DJs think about their music and how current software allows them to organize it.

Many DJs rely on memory, external platforms, or inefficient workflows due to the lack of tools that support deeper, more intuitive methods of sorting and understanding their music libraries.

The Solution

Setera is a desktop DJ software that introduces stem-based analysis, customizable tagging, and modular interface tools - allowing DJs to organize and interact with their libraries based on sound elements, patterns, and contextual similarities.
