Eckerd Drops Road Contest at Flagler
SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The Eckerd men's soccer team fell 4-0 on the road at Flagler (Fla.) on Friday night.
Eckerd came out aggressive with three shots in the opening seven minutes, but they could not find the back of the net. The Saints wasted little time getting on the board with a goal in the 10th minute from Finn Weigelt. FC doubled its score in the 31st minute on a long strike from Gustav Moberg. Flagler made it a 3-0 game three minutes later with a goal from Jackson Kirila, taking a 3-0 favor into the break.
EC pressed early in the second half with two shots and two corner kicks inside the first 15 minutes before Flagler added a fourth goal in the 65th minute. Both teams were quiet the rest of the game, with EC falling 4-0.
