Fun and Learning Go Hand in Hand in Spanish Class
Third grade students recently strengthened their Spanish vocabulary skills through a series of engaging, hands-on learning activities. One activity challenged students to work as a team as they followed directions in Spanish from a classmate acting as a coach. Students listened carefully and applied their vocabulary knowledge to complete a fun race while practicing body part terminology. Students also reinforced their learning through a Spanish-themed card game that encouraged them to recognize, recall, and use vocabulary words in an interactive setting. These activities provided students with an opportunity to build confidence in their language skills while collaborating with classmates and having fun along the way.
