Project Description:
In an era where fans expect immersive and inclusive amenities, the Cleveland Guardians’ Progressive Field transformation redefines what a ballpark can be. As part of the Progressive Field Reimagined project, this modernization preserves the spirit of the ballpark while enhancing hospitality, technology and community impact. At the heart of the reinvention is a deep commitment to the fan experience. The ballpark now features a wide variety of social and communal spaces that empower visitors to shape their own gameday activities. The upper deck has been reimagined as a vibrant destination, with grab-and-go concessions, two view-box bars, and a panoramic beer garden overlooking downtown Cleveland. The former private Terrace Club is now an open-air hub with terraced seating. The new multistory market hall, accessible from every level, creates a dynamic area for fans to gather, dine and connect. The Dugout Club offers an elevated hospitality experience behind home plate, featuring new dugout lounge suites and upgraded food and beverage options. Premium areas throughout the ballpark have been redesigned for comfort and social interaction, and to meet modern standards, supporting new revenue streams and attracting a broader fanbase. The Guardians’ clubhouse was once considered among the least impressive in Major League Baseball. Today, it stands as a benchmark for excellence. Through a complete overhaul of the athletes’ facilities, the new clubhouse has been elevated to what many now regard as the best in MLB.
