Top Blokes Program

We are excited to share that our Top Blokes Program for Year 5 and 6 boys has already been a great success! Every Monday, the boys have been actively participating and enjoying discussions on important topics such as healthy relationships and mental well-being. Through engaging activities and open conversations, the program encourages the boys to develop confidence, build positive connections, and foster a healthy mindset. We are proud of their enthusiasm and commitment to learning! Thank you for your support as we continue to empower our young men to thrive both in school and beyond.

Reading Challenge

Our Reading Challenge is drawing to a close with only one more round to be completed. Sheets have been sent home today. We look forward to rewarding our consistent participants with a special excursion.

Grandparents Day

Our Grandparents Day at school was a truly heartwarming celebration, filled with joy and connection. The morning began with classroom visits, followed by a delightful morning tea organized by the P&C, where grandparents enjoyed delicious treats and shared stories with their grandchildren. The highlight of the day was the stunning Art Show featuring the creative works of our talented 2/3/4 students. It was a vibrant showcase that not only captivated all who attended but also raised over $700 for special art supplies, ensuring our young artists continue to thrive. We also enjoyed a Scavenger Hunt and a wonderful display of our new Drone Technology. The day was a beautiful reminder of the cherished bonds between generations and the importance of community support in nurturing our children's creativity.

School Bytes App

At the start of this term we transitioned from our apps (Audiri and School Bytes) to School Bytes. This change means that School Bytes is the only app used for all school-related communications and administrative tasks. We are confident that this change will enhance our ability to communicate and manage school activities more effectively. If you need any help with this transition please contact the school office.

Swim School

Swim School begins for all students on Tuesday 5th November until Friday 8th November. Students will enjoy an early lunch break at school, departing for Kurri Kurri Pool at 11:55am. They will participate in two swimming lessons each day with a short break between lessons. We will arrive back at school by 2:50pm each day, in time for usual buses and pick up at 3:00pm. We all look forward to seeing students enjoying themselves and improving on their Swimming skills. Students can wear thier swimmers under their uniform in the morning, please remember to pack thier underwear in their bags with their towel and a bag to put wet clothing into.

Kindergarten 2025 Orientation

We will be welcoming our Kindergarten students for 2025 on 19th, 26th and 28th November. We will also be meeting with parents on the 19th November. Lots of fun activities are being planned and we really look forward to the beginning of our Kinder 2025 students journey through Primary School. Orientation sessions give your child a chance to meet prospective classmates and be in the classroom environment that they will be part of next year. But perhaps less obviously, they give you the opportunity to see how your child interacts and copes with new people and places too.
