Music - We had such a fun music lesson this week! We practised Christmas songs to get ready for our carol singing around the Christmas tree in the last week of school. After that, we had a go at playing Jingle Bells on the boom whackers, which was so exciting! We really enjoyed it and can’t wait to perform for everyone.
English - We have been looking at instructions, in particular recipes. Miss Hetherington brought ingredients for a cheese sandwich and we had to be very specific when instructing her on how to make it! We looked at a few recipe examples before having a go at putting them in order with the help of time connectives.
Science - This week in Science, we have been looking at light and shadow. We looked at different sources of light such as natural and artificial. We were very good at explaining what natural and artificial meant and were able to categorise different sources of light.
Spanish - In Spanish this week, we learnt how to say each month. Once we learnt these, a few of us had to then put ourselves in order.
