The One Stop Enrollment Center assists with all questions related to financial aid, undergraduate admissions and registration. Whether it’s in-person, online or over the phone, our One Stop counselors are here to help and can be reached in whatever way is most convenient for you.

*Please note that wait time at our office by phone or in-person can be a long wait during this time of year as we begin the Fall 2024 semester, so please be patient with us.*

Financial Aid FAQ's

Complete your application today at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa

  • When will I receive my refund? If you have direct deposit set up, you will be seeing the refund within 2-3 business days and if it's not set up than you will receive a check in the mail within 1-2 weeks after the financial aid has disbursed into your tuition balance.
  • How to set up direct deposit? Please log on to your myUTSA Account Modern View and follow the steps; Click on the Main Menu (top left) and select “Student Services" Under the Menu: Fiscal Services card, click on the “Sign Up for Direct Deposit” link; Provide Bank Checking Account and Bank Routing number
  • Will we be notified once UTSA has received the FAFSA application? Federal student aid will send student an email when their FAFSA information has been sent to their selected schools and when you can access your FAFSA Submission Summary on StudentAid.gov.
  • How do you invite contributors to the FAFSA application? To invite a contributor to your FAFSA form, you'll need to provide their name, date of birth, Social Security number, and email address.
  • If I was single back in 2022 but I am now married, do I still have to provided Spouse information on the FAFSA application? If you are now married but filed single 2022 tax return, you will be required to provide Spouse information since we are going based on the present information when you are filling out the FAFSA.
  • How does one provided consent on the FAFSA form? The contributor will log in to their account using their FSA ID (username and password), check the information needed for their section on the FAFSA form, and give consent, approval, and a signature.
  • What if FAFSA can't calculated my SAI? If a student, spouse, or parent does not provide consent on the FAFSA, the Student Aid Index (SAI) will not be calculated, and the student will not be eligible for financial aid.

What movie or show do you keep re-watching? "I keep rewatching The Office."

What is the best advice you haves ever received? "The best advice I have ever received has been to take everything in as it presents itself in front of you, only you can make the best out of the situation."

Meditation Room/Space: Located on the second floor of the H-E-B Student Union(HSU 2.211A)

Food Pantry: The Roadrunner Pantry is a community-supplied food pantry that is open to all students in need. You only need to bring your UTSA ID card with you. Students needing emergency assistance during non-operating hours can arrange for a food kit pick up by emailing RoadrunnerPantry@utsa.edu.

  • Roadrunner Pantry- Main Campus: Located in the Student Union (SU) 1.04.06 (next to the UPS Store)
