Tis the Season to be Jolly, falalalalalala! Welcome back to Scribbles and note - this is the last one for 2025! Can you believe it?? Thank you for being here and let's take a quick look at some happenings in Lilac!
Practical Life
We've added and changed the area to reflect the season. New in practical life: soap grating, egg beating, making a pomander.
Symbols of the United States were introduced. To name a few - Statute of Liberty, Liberty Bell, Mt. Rushmore, White House, US flag, bald eagle, and more.
Next we presented the Midwestern states, which includes our state, Michigan.
Next we took a closeup look at our state. Michigan has two parts - an upper and lower peninsula. A peninsula is a piece of land with water on 3 sides.
Michigan's upper peninsula looks like a running rabbit. The lower peninsula looks like a mitten. We live in the lower peninsula.
Walk Around the Sun
We had 2 celebrations. Natalie Tracey and Rylan Pullukat celebrated with the class. Happy 3rd year of Life, Natalie and Happy 5th Year of Life, Rylan!
Here's our poem for December! All the months go past. Each is like a guest; December is the last, December is the best. Each has lovely things; each one is a friend. But December brings Christmas at the end! And here we are almost at Christmas and another year's beginning. I wish you all "Good Tidings of Comfort AND Joy"!
