The Matchup
The Bemidji State University Baseball team makes its final appearance at the BSU Baseball Field in 2026 this weekend by hosting Minot State University for a “Beaver Battle” series Saturday-Sunday. The Beavers (9-29, 6-21 NSIC) clash with their namesake across U.S. Highway 2 for a four-game series with the first three slated for Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action and the final game a non-conference matchup. The series begins with a doubleheader beginning at Noon Saturday, April 25. The Beavers then play two more Sunday with another doubleheader beginning at Noon. Bemidji State Notes
- Bemidji State plays games three through six of its six-game home stand this weekend against Minot State.
- The Beavers are coming off a doubleheader split with University of Minnesota, Crookston on Wednesday defeating the Golden Eagles for the first time since 2017 snapping a 21-game losing streak to UMC.
- Bemidji State is 16-18 all-time against Minot State and have won three of the last five meetings.
