Hi! We are the Mantlo Family. Wade grew up in Mechanicsville, VA and came to faith in 1990 while at VA Tech. Christine grew up in Valencia, PA and also came to faith in 1990 while at community college.
After graduation, Wade joined the staff of Cru in Feb. 1993. A few years later, Christine joined staff in Feb. 1995. We met in Orlando, FL and were married in 1996. Over the past 30 years, we've served in many different roles, including living in Southeast Asia for 9 years. Now we are back in the US serving in global roles. The following page explains a little bit about our vision and calling.
Go Make Disciples of all nations, baptizing them, teaching them to obey all things I have commanded you. - Matthew 28:18-20
Our desire is to see God's Kingdom expanded throughout the earth! When Jesus came He brought a call to realign our thinking and actions to the reign of the King! He taught His followers about the nature of this Kingdom and taught them to pray for it to come to earth.
The scope of his ministry was to bring this message to "all the towns of Israel" (Lk 4:43) and his ministry was to prepare His followers so that the gospel of the Kingdom would be "proclaimed throughout the world as a testimony to all nations" (Mt 24:14). And since that time followers of Jesus have been working to see that vision fulfilled.
Progress has been made but . . .
- While there are over 8 billion people in the world . . . only 2.5 billion would consider themselves as Christians of any kind
- 5.5 billion are without Christ . . . and many have yet to hear the good news about Him
- Researchers have identified over 17,000 "nations" (people groups) in the world . . . and yet there are still 7,000 that are counted as unreached.
There is a sense of urgency!
Every second, 2 people step into eternity!
God's Heart is To Change That!
God desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth - 1 Timothy 2:4
"I will build my church, and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it." - Matthew 16:18
God is bringing an increasing number of people into a relationship with Himself throughout the world.
Because of the great need of the lost and the urgency of the times, Global Church Movements (GCM) was established to help fulfill the Great Commission through multiplying churches and missional communities.
We believe God is calling His people to something extraordinary in these days - to help start a church for every 1,000 people amongst the 5.5 billion people who don't know Christ. That is 5.5 million new churches!
We are committed to keep pursuing the Great Commission until all have the opportunity to hear the Gospel. With over almost 2,000 GCM staff in 140 countries and over 100 partner organizations, we are seriously pursuing the expansion of God's Kingdom to every corner of the globe. We've helped establish a partnership known as the Global Alliance for Church Multiplication (GACX) to link arms with other like-minded organizations. Through this partnership, over 2 million new churches have been started since 2010! The Kingdom is advancing!!
Our Roles
After 9 years of living in the Philippines as the Southeast Asia GCM Strategy Leaders, we moved to Campus Crusade for Christ's (Cru) International Headquarters in Orlando, FL to help give leadership to the GCM Field Strategies Team. We serve our staff and the body of Christ in over 140 countries by providing training, resourcing and coaching for church multiplication.
Wade serves on the Leadership Team as part of Global Field Strategies and offers strategic support for East, South and Southeast Asia, Latin America.
Christine serves as the Women's Strategic Mobilizer, helping involve more women around the world in the mission of Global Church Movements.
Power of Multiplication
As people come to faith in Jesus, they are discipled to obey His word and love those around them. Often, in their joy, new believers begin sharing the gospel with their families and friends.
Soon there are new disciples and churches are formed. As these new churches are trained to live out the call to follow Jesus in obedience and fish for men, they begin to establish other churches and teach them to do the same generation after generation.
One example of the power of a changed life is Diana's Story in Panama!
From Latin America to Eastern Europe to Africa to Asia, lives are being transformed! And churches are being started where there was no Christian witness before!
This story from Northern Tanzania is a great example of how God is using the multiplication of churches to expand His Kingdom.
Another example can be seen in this story from Cambodia.
Our prayer is that the Spirit of the Lord would move throughout the earth so that His Kingdom would come and His name would be honored among all peoples!
"The gospel of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the earth to all peoples and then the end will come" - Matthew 24:14
We Need Your Help
We count it a privilege to work with our brothers and sisters all over the world to help build God's Kingdom in the most needy places. But we cannot do this work alone!
Because Cru has no central funds for paying salaries and ministry expenses, we depend upon concerned individuals who believe in this work to partner with us through consistent prayer and finances.
We must find a team of partners who will give on a monthly basis to support our ministry. This team allows us to turn our full attention to reaching people for Christ.

How can they believe if they have never heard? How can they hear unless someone tells them? How can someone tell them unless they are sent? Rom 10:14-15
