Two thirds of the world's population identify as oral learners. Even if handed a Bible in their language, they could not or would not read it.
The majority of oral learners live in unreached people groups, meaning they have little to no access to learn about the gospel in a way that speaks to their hearts.
To solve this problem, StoryRunners partners with local people to develop a series of oral Bible stories from Creation to the Return of Jesus in just four weeks.
Then, local pastors and church planters are equipped to use these oral Bible stories in their ministries for evangelism, discipleship and church planting.
During the 10 years I served with the campus ministry of Cru, I developed a passion for unreached people. I also grew in my desire to use my journalism degree to advance God's Kingdom. When I learned about StoryRunners, I couldn't believe physical Bibles wouldn't be sufficient to reach the whole world for Christ.
I joined the StoryRunners team in 2018. As the senior writer for StoryRunners, I have the privilege of documenting how God is at work as His Word goes forth to oral learners in unreached people groups. My role invites the Church to invest their time, talent and treasure in this vital mission.
I would love to meet with you to tell you how you can help reach oral learners living in unreached people groups with the gospel!
