“I'm really inspired by women who have written text that resonated with so many people and kind of breaks down barriers and boundaries for people. The two I'll go with are Toni Morrison and Maya Angelou. Their books and their poetry, I think, offer perspective to voices that aren't heard as actively before they really started writing, and I think representation and diversity in the literature that we read is really important. They are two very prominent black women who have witten amazing works of literature and poetry that many people can be inspired by.”
