swimming carnival postponed

The VoSS Swimming Carnival has been postponed from this coming Friday to Monday, 16 February. Students should come to school for a normal school day this Friday. Apologies for any inconvenience.

2026 classes and teachers

We say farewell to Mrs Sally Carroll who has taken a permanent position at another school. We wish her all the best in her new endeavours. We are in the process of filling the position for 2026. Ms Kave Thuys will be taking the classes this week.

LIBRARY

Students require a library bag to be able to borrow books from the school library. All students will have their library day on a Friday. Books can be returned any day of the week to the blue tub on the library desk.

secondhand uniforms

There are still lots of secondhand uniforms in the office. If your child needs any, please let us know!

bangalow osch

A before and after-school care service operates from Bangalow Public School. If your child requires care outside of school hours, please contact Laura at the Bangalow OSCH on 0427 540 023 for more information.

book packs and voluntary contributions

Book Packs for 2026 and Voluntary Contributions will be added to your School Bytes accounts this week. These can be paid off throughout the term.

hats and water bottles

Please ensure your child has a broad brimmed hat and refillable water bottle WITH THEIR CLEARLY ON THEM.

Students enjoyed learning facts and drawing wonderful walrus pictures.

Our 2026 Kindy's have been getting to know their buddies and their classrooms this week.

P&C news

Our first P&C meeting for 2026 will be held on Friday, 20 February in our school library from 8 am. Come along, grab a coffee en route, meet some lovely parents and help us kick off the year with an epic team vibe. Whether you’re a long-time P&C legend or brand new and just curious, you’re so welcome. Great energy, good chats, and a chance to be part of something that really supports our kids and school.
