INTERNSHIP
SPIKED ADE Internship Brand Embassador Summer 2025
During the Summer of 2025 I worked as a brand embassador for SPIKED ADE. I worked to help launch the product. Between going to events and meeting with retailers to pitch the product, I increased the brands awareness, and created a customer base.
- I represented SPIKED ADE at marketing events and in store activation.
- I engaged directly with customers to build awareness and loyalty for the brand.
- I visited and supported multiple retail accounts.
- I contributed to the growth of sales and enhanced consumer engagement.
This was such an incredible opportunity and it taught me so much about what goes into making a new business successful. During my time with SPIKED ADE I learned and improved on an incredible number of skills including communication and persuasiveness. Going forward I am confident I will be able to use these skills to better contribute to my future career.
STUDENT ORGANIZATION
Marquette Lacrosse
Although I now attend the University of South Carolina, my freshman year I played Division One lacrosse at Marquette university. This experience taught me an unbelievable amount about myself. From waking up at 5:30 A.M. for 6 A.M. lifts for months in a row to pulling all nighters studying for exams, balancing school and sports was not easy. This experience strengthened my organization and improved my time management skills. It required an incredible amount of discipline and taught me how to stay composed in intense and unconfortable situations. It also taught me great communication and leadership skills. I learned how to work towards a common goal with a group. I learned how to hold others accountable while still supporting them. This competetive environment taught me mental toughness and resiliance. This dedication and teamwork did not only correlate to the field. In the classroom these skills I learned helped me to stay focused during tough assignments and work well in group settings. Although tough to balance being a student athlete, these skills benefited my classroom performance and while playing lacrosse at Marquette I maintained a 3.9 GPA. I also plan to play club lacrosse at the University of South Carolina starting in the Spring of 2025 and continue to grow my skills.
Spain 2027
I plan to study aboad in Spain in the spring of 2027. This experience will further my personal and professional growth. This will allow me to dive into a new culture and better develop my understanding of the world. I believe that global knowledge is essential in the business world today and this experience will provide me with that knowledge. In Spain I plan to continue my study of finance. Learning from new teachers and working with students from all over the world will help me better develope my communication skills. I also plan to improve my spanish speaking abilities over this trip. This will allow me to connect to new groups of people again improve my global knowledge. Living in Spain will push me out of my confort zone and force me to adapt. This adaptability will then let me aproach any challenge I might face with confidence. It will also allow me to bring more to the table as a job candidate.
Goals I have while Living in Spain
- Learn how international markets operate and the differences in financial regulations across dfferent countries
- Enhance my problem solving skills while working on international hands on case studies
- Learn how European financial institutions run and communicate financial concepts across cultures
When the time comes for me to travel to Spain I will document my experience with photos and vidoes. I will add my recap of the journey to my LinkedIn and list everything I experienced as well as what skills I developed.
Volunteer work
During my junior and senior year of high school I volunteered to teach people with disabilities the game of lacrosse through a program my highschool ran. Althought technically volunteer work it never felt like work to me. Lacrosse is a passion of mine and I have always enjoyed teaching people how to play. Through this work I learned many things. I learned how to support those who need it as well as to give confidence to those who lack it. I learned how to be a leader and create an inclusive environment as well. Above all, the main skill I leanred from this experience was the ability to be patient. Coaching different people with different abilities and skill levels really taught me to slow down and communicate effectively. Being patient helped me teach people the way that worked best for them. It helped me become a better leader and a better person. This volunteer work was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. There seriously was nothing better than watching one of the players you coached score and look at you with a gigantic smile on their face after.
