Group time! We have been coming together as a group to help support us with our focus and attention when taking part in an activity. There are currently three stages:- Stage 1, The children are shown three things out of the basket which they find exciting to watch e.g. a wind up toy. Stage 2, they watch the adult create something e.g. a painting of a rainbow, and stage 3 which involves a turn taking activity. We are so impressed with how well they sit and join in! After the half term we will be adding Stage 4, where we all take part in group activity together.
The group sessions have helped us to join in other activities too like music with Mrs Butler.
We found lots of different wood carvings on our Forest School trips. We particularly liked the giant wooden hand - it made a great seat!
We ended our week decorating our pumpkins, both wooden and real and used the stickers to decorate our goody bags.
