GATOR STEP TEAM

Last Weekend our Gi Phi Gator Step Team competed in the annual MLK STEP team competition. Congratulations to all of these students! They practiced hard and did a great job of representing Gunn at the celebration and compeition!

Congratulations to all of our 6th grade students who competed in the Spanish Spelling Bee! You all showed off your skills in Spanish Language Arts and made us proud! Congratulations to, not only the winners, but all of the contestants for their bravery, hard work, and outstanding effort. ATHLETICS

In order to compete, athletes must pass all classes with a 70 or higher each six weeks.

Human trafficking is an urgent issue that affects countless individuals globally. It transcends borders, socioeconomic status and communities like ours. We must unite to educate ourselves, raise awareness and take meaningful steps toward prevention and support. Attend “Shatter the Silence” on Jan. 29, 2026, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Arlington ISD Professional Development Center, 1111 W. Arbrook Blvd. for an impactful and enlightening event where you will hear from: Expert Speakers with Unbound Now, The Women's Center Tarrant County and Arlington Police Department sharing their insights and experiences on the realities of human trafficking. Interactive Panel Discussions on recognizing the signs of trafficking and how to respond. Workshops are developmentally appropriate for students in K-2nd and 3rd-5th, offering age-relevant information on how to stay safe. Whether you're a parent or guardian, concerned citizen, community leader, educator or professional, this event is for anyone committed to ending human trafficking. Together, we can empower ourselves and others to create a safer world for all. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, engage and take action.
