Ghosts of Jupiter is a psychedelic prog-rock band based out of Boston, led by moe. keyboardist Nate Wilson, they are a modern take on riff-heavy classic rock, inspired by music of the 60s and 70s and have opened for the likes of Earthless, Dead Meadow, and Blue Oyster Cult. Their members include accomplished musicians such as guitarist Adam Terrell from Assembly of Dust, and guitarist Pierre Aleksi, bassist Tommy Lada, and drummer Tom Arey of Peter Wolf and J. Geils Band.
Since 2011, Ghosts of Jupiter have released 3 albums with their first Self Titled album being released under the bands original name, The Nate Wilson Group, followed by their second critically acclaimed album released in 2016, “The Great Bright Horses”. In 2020, the band remotely recorded and mixed their latest album “Keepers of the Newborn Green”, and was released in 2021.

The flute in addition, we first think of the Byrds (or, more neatly, of some of those German groups of the end of the 60s that Garden Delight likes to reissue) when discovering "Keepers of the Newborn Green", third album by Ghosts of Jupiter, this Boston group which either was born a generation or two too late or worships the musical utopias of its parents. Then, apart from a few surprising production choices (the drum mix of “On Bending Tides”), we welcome the modernism (in any case the anchoring in the 21st century) of the ten songs written by Nate Wilson (keyboards, flute, guitar), whose ancient musical roots are thought in today's environment – where concerns are called viruses, conspiracy theories and obscurantism. Among them, “Sea Of Madness”, with a more electric rhythm and chained by a Floydian lull to the aquatic “Battlekat” stands out and takes the advantage over rather… well-made tracks.
