History of Indie Flower
Indie flower was created in 2010, it was created by a graphic designer, Kimberly Geswein. She is a one-woman company in Orlando, Florida. Geswein specializes in making unique, affordable and hand-drawn fonts. This font is an amiable handwritten font with great arching lines and an irregular outline. It is inspired by the hand lettering of the 1960s and 1970s rock posters. Not much is known about this font except that it is the actual handwriting of a friend of the designer's and she also named it. It is used best as casual authentic handwriting.
Designers would describe Indie Flower as...
Designers would say it's a handmade design with a brush effect. Indie Flower is a script-y font. It has a diagonal stress and it has more of an adjusted kerning. The letters are not super far apart but are also not extremely hard to read. There's also a few weight differences in the alphabet.
Non-designers would describe Indie Flower as...
Non-designers would say that Indie Flower is a natural look but uncommon. They way it looks as if it was written by a marker or pen gives it that effect. It's used by a variety of people but it's not on Helvetica-level of popularity. It can also be described as "neat" handwriting.
sound
Since Indie Flower is relaxing, it would only make sense if it sounded like soft, piano music.
