In Science, we experimented with making different circuits. We used different components and made our own switches to make open and closed circuits. Next week, we are planning to carry out an investigation into making bulbs brighter and the outcome of increasing power and components.
Another week, another great cricket session in the sun! This week, coach Dan introduced us to a variety of games set to improve our throwing and catching skills. Then we played team games where we gained points for hitting the cricket stumps.
On Thursday, it was Michael Rosen’s Poetry Day. The whole school learned one of his poems in assembly then, back in class, we read about him in our reading session. We even joined his live session along with many others across the country.
Finally this week, some of us were lucky enough to enjoy the beautiful area of Talkin Tarn to go orienteering. We had to read the map and find the markers…we had great fun even if it was cold and windy!
