THANK YOU

From March 4-6, Stevenson Athletics hosted the department's 3rd Annual Campaign for Mustang Athletics, reaching new milestones and setting records for the program. The three-day initiative once again showcased the incredible generosity of the Mustang Community, as alumni, families, fans, and friends came together to support Stevenson student-athletes in a powerful way.

After closing last year's campaign with $159k in gifts, Mustang Athletics shattered that mark in 2026, raising more than $273k in support across the 29 athletic programs. The momentum was also reflected in participation, as the number of donors grew significantly— from 1,213 supporters in 2025 to an impressive 1,966 donors this year.  "We are incredibly grateful to everyone in the Stevenson Athletics community who participated in this year's Campaign for Mustang Athletics," said , Director of Athletics. "The historic success of this campaign speaks volumes about the passion and pride that surrounds Stevenson Athletics and sends a strong message to our student-athletes that there is an entire community of support behind them." The remarkable generosity seen in this year's campaign provides resources that allow our student-athletes the opportunity to train, compete and grow while representing Stevenson at the highest level. The Stevenson Athletics administration, coaches, staff, and — most importantly — its student-athletes are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of #StangNation and the Mustang Athletics family to continue elevating the student-athlete experience both on and off the field.  Mustang Athletics thanks every supporter who helped make this year's campaign a record-breaking success and for continuing to Fuel the Stampede.

Men’s Lacrosse, ranked No. 16 nationally by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) to begin the year, has faced a challenging early schedule and enters conference play with a 1–6 overall record. While the record may not fully reflect the team’s effort, the Mustangs have competed against some of the nation’s top programs, including then-ranked No. 3 Christopher Newport, No. 9 Gettysburg, No. 11 Dickinson, No. 15 Washington & Lee, and No. 14 St. Lawrence. Stevenson’s lone victory came in dramatic fashion in the season opener against Muhlenberg, scoring twice in the final 10 minutes to secure the win. Individual standouts have led the way, as Camden Miller, Max Racich, and Hunter Bryant earned USA Lacrosse Magazine Division III Preseason All-American honors, while Miller, Racich, and Gavin Gossen were also named Nike Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans. Victories over Juniata, Randolph-Macon, Rochester, and Farmingdale State have highlighted the team’s progress, while a five-goal performance against No. 17 Stevens demonstrated their ability to compete with top conference opponents. Offensively, Stevenson ranks near the top of the MAC Commonwealth in multiple categories, including second in goals, points, and assists per game, while leading the conference in shots per game. Kara Yarusso, Erin Steinberg, Olivia Galati, and Sophia Murray all rank among the top scorers in the conference, with Galati earning MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week honors following an 11-point performance. MUSTANGS OF THE MONTH

Carleigh Barwick (women's ice hockey), PJ Cera (men's soccer), Brennan McKneely (men's lacrosse), and Jesse Resnick (men's lacrosse) are taking on a special project this semester in Athletics. Each student-athlete is in the midst of their spring internships, and are digitally archiving the history of Stevenson Athletics.

As technology continued to evolve throughout the years, some things were never digitalized, including the stats and achievements of Villa Julie and Stevenson student-athletes from 1994-2008. These four students, will be tackling the project of making alumni's achievements linked to their bios on GoMustangSports.com for fans and family members to see for years to come.
