The children enjoyed their music lesson this week. They loved clapping along and using stick notations to copy different rhythms and beats. It was great to see their enthusiasm as they listened carefully and joined in together. Once they had mastered this, they went on to create their own rhythmic patterns.
The children also created some lovely autumn pictures this week. They used their knowledge from a previous art lesson to explore different textures with a range of media. Their drawings were full of detail and showed their own representations of what trees look like in autumn. I was really impressed with the outcomes and they look gorgeous displayed in our classroom!
The children always look forward to their Forest School sessions, it’s one of the highlights of the week! They love being outdoors, exploring nature, and learning through hands on experiences. Whether they’re building dens, collecting leaves, or spotting signs of the changing seasons. It’s always great to see how engaged they are, working together, asking questions, and enjoying every moment outside.
And of course, when they spotted a hill, there was no way they could resist rolling down it!
