BABES, can you believe it's been 12 group shoots now?!
A few years back I started offering these to the Boudie Babes group members as my way of giving back to our wonderful community. We've all made so many new friends and pushed so many boundaries doing these and this one is NO exception!
There is a bit of a story that goes along with this so keep scrolling to read what went down! I was shaking with adrenaline even though I was the only one clothed! Lol
When looking for a location for this session, it was a bit of a struggle for obvious reasons because we didn't want to scar any children LOL. The nude campground came up but we ended up going with a place in the middle of nowhere in Fort Erie near Jessa's house. She found an overgrown path at the end of dead end road that was an 8 minute walk from her place, which sounded PERFECT! Outdoors and secluded!
Once we got to the path, I realized just how overgrown and uneven the footing was. It's always so hard to tell how a location will be from photos alone, so I was a bit worried at first because I didn't want the ladies to get eaten alive... but at the same time, we were all already there and it had been weeks of planning!
After wading through the path quite a bit, there was a clearing to the edge of a field which was just what we needed! This is where everyone undressed and we got to work making sure to step inside the rows to respect the plants!
While we shot in the field, we had a little lookout helper ready to yell if anyone were to actually come down the path. She was also in charge of watching one of the babe's baby in her stroller too, because being a mom doesn't stop us from doing badass things! Around this point in the session she screamed and we freaked out because we thought it was someone coming, but really it was because she found a TICK! So many ticks this evening haha
I try to do a drone shot every group session and y'all, I've ALWAYS wanted to shoot in a field!! It was literally a dream come true! Unfortunately this is when things took a turn lol
As the ladies carefully walked out into the field, they realized that a motorcycle had pulled over wayyyy far away on the road. They joked that it was his lucky day but it honestly stressed me out lol. He finally left and I had them get situated in their own row on the ground for an aerial shot.
JUST as I was about to launch the drone, we heard engines RIPPING and getting closer and closer. Our little lookout yelled that people were coming on ATVs!!!!! I thought for sure the motorcycle man had called someone and we were about to be busted! Everyone rushed up and tried to get back to their clothes, but before they could all I could hear was "What the fuck is going on here?!?" in a booming voice!
Guys, instant regret for that split second!! I waded out back onto the path while everyone could get back to put their clothes back on. Thank god it was just 2 dudes doing an off-road trip. The absolute panic I felt was nothing I ever want to experience again while shooting lol, nevermind the poor babes in the nude!!!! In disbelief of what they just witnessed, they left, but that wouldn't be the last time we would see them...
Totally shaking in my boots, I told the ladies that I understand if they wanted to be done at that point because wtf?!?! They all assured me that they were good to continue, so back to undressing for the drone shot they went! I could literally barely even steer the drone because I was so anxious, but I got the shot and it was worth it because look how gorgeous!
As we were walking back to the path we heard the ATV motors yet again as they were back tracking to where we were. "I just got to ask what is going on here?!" and "To come across this is like winning the lottery!" they yelled
I explained what we were doing and by this point they began to make extremely inappropriate comments. You know the whole debate on why women would rather choose a bear in the middle of nowhere over a man?! These two were no help to their cause. By now the fear was gone and we were just ready for them to leave, which finally they did. I won't say what he said to us and I'll let your imaginations run wild with that one.... CRAZY! It makes me wonder what would happen if there wasn't so many of us... but anyways!
They pulled it off after all the crazy!
It's so important to normalize everyday beauty in a world flooded with porn, Onlyfans, and with advertisements depicting such a narrow range of bodies! These ladies slayed this session and I am forever grateful for their bravery to help bring this vision to life! You all are PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL IN YOUR OWN WAYS!
