In 1934, newlyweds Walter and Isabelle Raven set out for a trip around the world westward from their home in Shanghai

Walter documented the trip by taking hundreds of photographs at 33 ports of call. He put together an album with all the photos printed in a tiny size (about 1.5 x 1 inch). Each print has now been scanned and is matched here with a restored and colorized version, for ease of detecting detail.
