I can't believe we are half way through the first half terms of the school year! Thank you to Mr Barnes and the team for holding the fort during my absence over the last couple of weeks.

There was a so much to celebrate in worship today..... from excellent work to starting karate lessons. We are so proud of all our Minera children!

Other News

Individual and Family Photographs

On Wednesday 8th October, we will be having our Tempest Photographs. Please ensure your children wear their school uniform and look smart for individual and sibling photographs.

Harvest Service

Our Harvest Service will take place on Thursday 9th October at St Mary's Church at 2pm. After the service, you can take your children home directly if you wish.

This year, we ask for donations of non-perishable food that will be donated to the

Wrexham Foodbank, a very worthy cause.

Please can your child bring in one of the following items:

  • Tinned fruit/Veg
  • Tinned Soup
  • UHT milk (1litre)
  • Tinned fish/meat
  • Tinned legumes
  • Tinned rice pudding/ Custard
  • Tea/Coffee
  • Fresh juice (Long-life)
  • Tinned tomatoes
  • Toiletries (e.g. Deodorant, Toilet paper)
  • Baby Toiletries (Nappies & Wash)
  • Pot Noodles (Kettle friendly)
  • Cereal Bars
  • Cup of Soups

Flu Immunisation

Flu immunisations are taking place on Monday 20th October. If you haven't completed a permission form, please see Mrs Armstrong in the School Office.

Parent Forum

Our Parent Forum, has been rescheduled to Tuesday 22nd October at 3:15pm as it clashed with the Harvest Service. This is a half-termly opportunity for us to connect, share ideas, discuss any concerns, and answer your questions. All members of our school community are warmly welcome to attend.

Show Racism The Red Card Non-Uniform Day

Friday 17th October is our Show Racism the Red Card day. Children are invited to wear red to support this important initiative.
