2025 Recap
The Bulldogs finished their 2025 campaign with an overall record of 11-7 and 5-1 record in the MIAA. Adrian made history last season as they hosted the MIAA Tournament Semifinals for the first time in ten seasons as the No. 2 seed.
Adrian looks to make a return to the MIAA Tournament as a host site again in 2026, in hopes of making it to the Championship game.
The Offense
Last season, the Bulldogs tallied 270 goals and 178 assists over 18 contests, while adding 797 shots and 607 ground balls throughout the year. Key contributors and returners include Austin Selvage, Alec Winegar, and Trace Tidswell. Selvage recorded 35 goals and 28 assists for the Bulldogs, which was second leading on Adrian's roster last season. While, Winegar tallied 29 goals and 7 assists for the Bulldogs and Tidswell recording 16 goals and 3 assists last season.
The Defense
With a total of 179 caused turnovers a season ago, Adrian’s defensive core will look to play a key role in the Bulldog transition game this coming campaign. Tyler Ristau, Noah Carithers, and Mark Picano all will be making a return on the Bulldogs roster as they were a core piece of their defense, all three recording 10 caused turnovers. The Bulldogs managed an 90.0 clear percentage last season, moving the ball up field efficiently. In order to advance themselves further in the postseason, Adrian’s hopes are to continue to improve those defensive numbers.
Key Returners
Returning for the Bulldogs in 2026 is the team’s main core of Selvage, Winegar, Tidswell, Ristau, Carithers, and Picano. Each of them is poised for stellar seasons, contributing to all situations of the game. Selvage earned All-MIAA first team attack honors last season, while Winegar earned All-MIAA second team midfield honors.
