NBA Dallas beats No. 1 Western Oklahoma City to reach conference finals for the first time in two years
The Dallas Mavericks advanced to the conference finals by beating the Oklahoma City Thunder, the No. 1 team in the NBA's regular league Western Conference.
Dallas won 117-116 in Game 6 of the second round of the NBA Western Conference Playoff (best of seven games) against Oklahoma City at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, on the 19th.
Dallas eliminated Oklahoma City with four wins and two losses overall and advanced to the Western Conference finals for the first time in two years since 2022. Dallas will face off against the winner between the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves as of Sunday.
Luka Doncic led his team to victory with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Kyrie Irving and Derrick Jones Jr. also scored 22 points each.
In Oklahoma City, Shai Gilgers-Alexander also struggled with 36 points, including four 3-pointers, but it was not enough to turn the game around.
Dallas was 60-77 early in the third quarter, trailing by 17 points. However, Irving and Doncic scored 13 points in a row in just two minutes to catch up. However, they failed to reverse the game by finishing the third quarter with 83-90.
Dallas tied the game 97-97, with 6 1/2 minutes left in the fourth quarter, with Derek Lively II's dunk. Since then, the two teams have exchanged points and continued the seesaw game.
With 20 seconds left in the game, Dallas gave up an alley-oop dunk to opponent Chet Holmgren to take the lead 115-116 on Saturday.
However, the last one to laugh was Dallas. In the final attack, P.J. Washington fouled Gilgers-Alexander among his three-point shots. Washington made two of his three free throws, and Dallas came from behind to win. 토토사이트 순위
