House Christmas Parties

Alwen, Brenig and Tegid have been earning 'blue tokens' this year by being READY, RESPECTFUL & SAFE and by going over and above, working hard and displaying a Growth Mindset.
Our wonderfully supportive PTA have agreed to turn each token into money, so every token earned will earn extra cash for the Houses to spend on planning their own Christmas Parties!

Remember, if you want to be part of the school PTA, please do get in touch with school via symail@hwbcyrmu.net or by letting your class teacher know. Diolch. All support and fresh ideas are always welcome.

PTA Christmas Film Night - Tuesday 16th December

Our wonderful PTA will be hosting a Christmas Film Night on Tuesday 16th December, starting at 4:30pm. It promises to be a fun and festive event for the children. More details will follow soon.

EXTRA CURRICULAR CLUBS

Autumn 2

We are excited to confirm that Champion Sports UK will be running 2 after-school football clubs this half term. If you would like to register your child for one of their clubs, please email on info@championsports.uk

Champions Sports After School Football Clubs

As we are edging closer to the shortest day of the year and light is fading quickly, can we please ask that children (unless walking home themselves or going to Kids' Club) are picked up from the gate by the school pitch. This will be a big help for the football coaches in ensuring all children go home safely with an appropriate adult. Diolch.

Diolch to all the staff and volunteers who give up their free time to run all these clubs.

The last Basketball Club of 2025 will be Thursday 4th December.

As our hall is largely (no pun intended) too small for after-school sport clubs, we rely on being able to use the playground. With the likelihood of more inclement weather over the winter, please do check the school X (Twitter) account @SychdynSchool for updates on whether clubs have to be cancelled due to the weather.

A note from Kids Club Please ensure any outstanding payments are settled each month. We also kindly remind parents about our late pick-up policy. Collection after 5:30pm will incur a charge of £15 for the first 10 minutes, followed by £1 per minute thereafter. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Please contact the school by phone or email before 9.00am, giving your child’s name, class, and the reason for their absence. If we do not hear from you, we are required to make contact to confirm your child’s whereabouts. Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep all children safe.
