Week of December 2-6, 2024
Principal's Message
"In days to come the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established as the highest of the mountains and shall be raised above the hills; all the nations shall stream to it. Many peoples shall come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” Isaiah 2.2-3
Advent is a time when our eyes are set to the future, and we are filled with hope. We know that Jesus, the Messiah, is coming very soon, and that his presence is a gift of love for us from God, our Father. This passage from the prophet Isaiah, the first reading of our Advent journey, shows us the promise of a world that will see us coming together to learn and walk in peace and joy.
May this Advent season be filled with abundant opportunities for you to not only reflect on the presence of hope, faith, joy, and peace in your lives, but to also share those gifts with those around you!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs. Carr-Jeschke & Mrs. McNamee
