PARENT HELP NEEDED
FAMILY ENGAGEMENT ADVISORY COUNCIL
The district is also looking for 2 parents from each campus to participate in the Family Engagement Advisory Council. The Council’s main goals are to ensure family stakeholder input in developing and refining our family engagement initiatives, strengthen parental engagement in district committees, and improve communication between the district and families.
A key objective is to create our districtwide Arlington ISD Family Engagement Plan, which will incorporate various departmental family engagement metrics. There will be four meetings for this district committee for the 23-24 school year: September 26th from 6:30-8:00pm, November 21st, February 20th, and April 24th.

ATHLETICS
In order to compete, athletes must pass all classes with a 70 or higher each six weeks.
Students and parents may attend athletic events on campus. All visitors must have a ticket to attend athletic games in AISD. Students must have an adult accompanying them who take responsibility for them. Once we have student IDs, those will also be required. JH athletic event Adult tickets are $2 plus a $1 fee. JH athletic event Student tickets are $1 plus a $1 fee.
