COMPETING AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL
Trinity College is a proud member of the NESCAC (New England Small College Athletic Conference)—one of the most competitive and academically rigorous NCAA Division III conferences in the country. We compete against nationally ranked teams and our conference consistently sends multiple teams deep into the NCAA tournament. If you’re looking to challenge yourself in a league that values both elite-level volleyball, top-tier academics, and a team that embraces our collective strengths, Trinity is the place for you.
While we don’t offer athletic scholarships, we do offer need-based and a very small amount of merit-based financial aid to help make Trinity affordable for student-athletes from all backgrounds. Here's a look at the NESCAC:

While "Trinity" may suggest a religious affiliation, we are a non-religiously affiliated institution with no religious requirements. Our breathtaking Chapel—perched high on campus and visible from all corners of Hartford—is a space for all. SEMESTER ABROAD: 🌍 Expand Your Horizons
One of the most incredible aspects of Trinity is the ability to study abroad while playing high-level volleyball. Many of our juniors choose to spend a semester exploring the world, and our program fully supports this opportunity. Our players have studied in:
🌎 Argentina, 🇮🇹 Rome, 🇨🇿 Prague, 🇪🇸 Spain, 🇬🇧 England & Scotland, 🇦🇺 Australia, and others.
⛵ Semester at Sea (yes, a volleyball player spent a semester on a sailboat, traveling from Massachusetts to the Caribbean!)
We love the fact that our players come back from these experiences with new perspectives, greater independence, and even more appreciation for their teammates and the game.
