Odd Socks Day

To celebrate 'what makes us unique', we will be holding an odd socks day on Monday. This is part of anti-bullying week which this year is on the theme of 'Make a Noise About Bullying'.

Healthy Snacks

We are seeing an increasing number of children eating unhealthy snacks such as crisps and chocolate bars for their snack at playtime. If your child would like to bring a snack into school please ensure these are healthy. Ideas include vegetable sticks, a piece of cheddar cheese or Babybel, a piece of fresh fruit or things such as bread sticks, plain rice cakes or small pitta breads. For drinks we encourage children to drink water rather than squash.

Toys in schools

Just a reminder that children should not bring toys into school as we would hate to see anything lost or damaged.

Assemblies next week

On Monday we will have a visit from a local PCSO to talk to the children about safety around dogs.

On Tuesday Rabbits class will be performing their class assembly (9.05am in the hall). Parents of children in Rabbits are very welcome to join us and there will be refreshments afterwards.

On Wednesday Trevor Ranger will be in school. Trevor has visited Chippenham schools over a number of years and shares stories from a Christian perspective. We would love to encourage visitors from a range of faiths and please do let us know if you have any contacts that may be able to help.

Forest School Volunteer

Do you like being outdoors? Are you interested in Forest School? Are you free on Wednesday afternoons?

If so, Forest School needs you!

I am looking for a volunteer or two who could commit to helping out on Wednesday afternoons from 1-3pm.

To find out more or express an interest, please come and have a chat, (After school Thursday or Friday is best) or drop the office an email.

Thanks

Mrs Rees
