ABOUT THE COLLEGE OUTREACH PROGRAM

The NFL College Outreach Program is a proud partner with Game Plan. We are working together to offer student football-athletes, mobile-first education covering the NFL draft process, important values gained through college football, how to maximize college resources, role models to look up to, and more. This eLearning based curriculum has now been implemented in over 130+ FBS football programs.

Interested in having the National Football League come to your institution in the off-season?

Through this program, current and former NFL executives and players visit institutions to speak with student-athletes about what to expect at the next level, character and leadership development and the values learned from the game. These visits strengthen the ongoing partnership between the National Football League and college football programs around the country.

Schedule In Person Visit

The National Football League, in partnership with the Black College Football Hall of Fame, hosted its 4th annual HBCU Combine at the New Orleans Saints practice facility, the Ochsner Sports Performance Center, on Monday, February 17. Prospect participation increased 6% Y-o-Y; while scouts from 32 NFL clubs attended including NFS staff who conducted measurements and testing for prospects

The NFL hosted its second annual Specialist Showcase with (27) total kickers, punters, and long snappers (including five international prospects from IPP Program). All 32 club NFL Special teams coaches interviewed prospects and conducted on-field workouts. Pat McAfee made a surprise appearance during the workout and encouraged all prospects.

The 2025 Big 12 Pro Day was held on March 18-21 inside Ford Center at The Star. The second annual event, operated in partnership with the Big 12, featured more than 200 Big 12 football athletes with nearly 300 NFL scouts and personnel in attendance. The NFL Network broadcast the event as Big 12 athletes begin the next chapter of their careers.
