MGA Play Days Presented by Callaway are designed to offer golfers a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience at some of the top courses across the Met Area. Each outing includes breakfast, lunch, tee gifts, and on-course contests with premium Callaway prizes. We carefully select clubs and courses that provide exceptional course conditions, friendly environments, and a great setting for connection both on and off the course. FAQs
Do I need a Handicap to enter?
We do not require it, but it is highly encouraged in order to participate in our Net Divisions. Those who enter our Net Division without a handicap established will be scored as a scratch golfer. All MGA memberships do include an official Handicap.
How does scoring work?
Scoring is kept electronically for both the Net and Gross divisions. Our standard format is Individual Stableford, though some Play Days feature team formats such as Best Ball or Scramble.
How do I register?
Registration is available on our MGA Website through Golf Genius software. Registration dates are staggered throughout the season and is first come first serve. Those who do not make the official roster in time are placed on a waitlist. See below for registration openings for 2026
What is included in a Play Day?
All registrations include a tee gift, continental breakfast, BBQ or deli lunch, 18 holes with a golf cart, and eligibility to win premium prizes in competition and on-course contests. Entry fees vary based on course rates and availability.
Who is eligible to register?
All MGA members are eligible to play. Play days are open to men and women of all ages and abilities.
