Well done to Sixth Form students who dressed in their Pyjamas for the whole day at school and successfully raised an additional £81 on their fashion parade at breaktime!

Fundraiser for Children in Need and The Red Cross

Friday, 17th November was an eventful fundraising day for the Baylis Court Community. Thank you to all who donated food to the bake sale which was a great success and we really appreciate the support of a local business – Cookie Jar London – who donated two boxes of cookies! The student volunteers did a fantastic job drumming up support for our chosen charities and were a pivotal part in ensuring the fundraising was successful. Thank you to all staff who volunteered their support on the day! Our community raised a total of £989.08 for Children in Need to support projects for children across the UK and Red Cross to support the humanitarian crisis in the Middle East

Wicked Theatre Trip

Students across year groups enjoyed a trip to see Wicked The Musical. The students’ behaviour was incredible and we all had a wonderful evening out. Thanks to parents for funding this trip for their children and understanding the importance of attending live performance. Thank you very much to Mrs Bounds, Ms Kelly and Ms Gill who came on the trip and Mrs Barnes, Mrs Watson and Ms Botnari who supported behind the scenes.

“It was lovely, an experience which really spiked my interest in Drama. It was a great performance which had incredible props and lighting. The set, projection and special effects were cool.”

Students signing out during the school day

For all students signing out for an appointment or other reason during the school day, the following must be followed:

  • Students must obtain their Head of Learning's siganture in their school planner or on the appointment letter.
  • Medical evidence will be needed for all appointments.
  • If a student arrives to reception to sign out without permission from HoL, they will have to locate their HoL for permission, which may delay getting to the appointment

Thank you to students and familes for your support with this matter.

Well done to these year 9 students who were presented with Head of Learning awards and Principal awards this week! We are so proud of your achievements.
