A Message from the Headteacher

As always, an extremely busy week! Our EYFS superstars enjoyed their trips to Wigfield Farm. Thank you to the staff who helped to make these possible; the children absolutely loved it.

From the very young end of school to our older children. We received their SATs results this week. We shared the outcomes with the children individually. I am incredibly proud of their efforts. They have worked terrifically hard and have really excelled it all areas.

Staying with the Year 6 children, our End of Year Productions were a joy to witness. Anybody who was lucky enough to be in the audience was entertained supremely by a very large cast. I salute the efforts of all the members of staff who were involved in putting the production together. Children from the age of five were involved. It was absolutely magical.

I had the pleasure of accompanying our terrific School Council for a special Lunch Visit to TGI Friday’s to thank them for their sterling service.

Summer Fayre Day is here. I can’t thank you enough for the amazing donations! A truly inspirational community effort as always.

School Reports are out today. It is fantastic and a privilege to read all about the children's progress. Should there be any points which require clarification, there will be some time on Wednesday after school to discuss them with the relevant teacher. Mrs Lavender will be available Monday or Thursday after school next week to discuss your child’s report (rather than Wednesday 17th).

I am sure that you will understand the reasoning behind a potential late to start because of they Football this weekend.

Next Week, we are hosting several events.

Leavers’ Assembly is for families of year six children only please. This of course is down to the capacity of the hall.

Our end of year Rock steady Concert is on Thursday afternoon. Families of relevant pupils only please.

Our annual End of Year Assemblies also take place. These are by invitation only and I am contacting all relevant families

  • EYFS2 & KS1 9:30 Thursday
  • Friday Key Stage 2 9:15am

I wish everybody an absolutely fantastic weekend; take care and enjoy some family time!
