This is my postcard for Greece. During this project I learned countless things like how to do drop shadows, how to put pictures into text, and how to skew the text. My goal during this was to make a neat and well put together postcard. I wanted to make it look like a professional and real postcard. I like this piece a lot, I just wished it did not look so busy. I want my audience to see a realistic postcard.
This piece was about how phones/technology is taking over our brains. I learned how to use layer masks during this. I was able to blend and layer things really well. My goal during this was to show that technology is slowly taking over us as a society. I wanted the story behind it to be very clear. I wish it was more realistic rather than cartoony though.
This is my scary movie poster, it is called the unseen girl. I learned how to edit specific color ranges and learned how to minimize my color use. The goal of this project was to show how much detail can be shown with little color. I also wanted to have the scary emotion behind this piece. I love this piece so much, I was able to get my goal across, although it was tough at first I got it. I loved the detail throughout it and the colors I used.
This is my book cover, it is meant to come off as a simple book. In this I learned how to use one type of media throughout the book. My goal was for it to catch people's eyes, if you look closely you can see a girl falling. I really like this piece a lot, I like the simplicity of the back cover. I like how much the book catches ones' eyes.
