Palm's Casino Resort to be built
Perini Building Co., a division of Perinisa, celebrated the first opening of its Palms Casino Resort on June 7 by placing its last beam and the resort's signature Hurricane palm tree in a 42-story hotel tower.
Based on this construction milestone, the $255 million Palms Casino Resort is operating on a budget and schedule.
"We plan to deliver the project this December, as promised," said Pat Hubbs, project manager at Perini Building Co.
The resort covers 22.5 acres of land. When the resort is completed, about 60,000 cubic yards of concrete will be poured. This will amount to 18 miles wide, which is 5 feet wide, or enough concrete to pack three times on both sides of the strip.
The hotel tower has 455 oversized rooms and suites. Other structures under construction include a multi-purpose entertainment venue, 14 theaters and IMAX theaters, seven restaurants, 10,000-square-foot banquet and conference facilities, and 18,000-square-foot spa and salon, which overlooks the resort-style swimming pool. Farms features 2,200 slot machines in a 95,000-square-foot casino.
The casino is an architectural expression in itself. It is designed to flow without corners or straight lines.
KGA Architecture is the executive architect of Palms Casino Resort. The Jerde Partnership International, an urban planning and architectural firm based in Los Angeles, is a master planner and design architect of projects for the exterior and interior of major casinos. 바카라사이트
