Project Description:
At the new global headquarters of JPMorganChase, a state-of-the-art human performance center is redefining what a workplace fitness facility can be. Co-created and operated by Exos, the 27,000-square-foot space was designed not simply as a gym, but as a strategic asset to support employee health, longevity and wellness in one of the most high-performance environments in the world. The facility integrates high-performance training principles traditionally reserved for elite athletes into the daily lives of financial professionals. The fitness floor features advanced Matrix Onyx cardio equipment with integrated screens, as well as expansive functional turf space and a full suite of strength training resources. Recovery is equally prioritized, with zero-gravity chairs, compression therapy, hydromassage, Therabody technology, electronic massage chairs, Somadomes and nap pods. Dedicated areas for mental recovery and mindfulness underscore a holistic approach to wellbeing. Locker rooms, group exercise studios with floor-to-ceiling views of New York City, advanced movement evaluation capabilities and even recreational activity simulators create an ecosystem that blends performance, restoration and community. Designed to meet LEED Platinum and WELL Health-Safety standards, the center reflects a broader commitment to sustainability and human-centered design. More than an amenity, the JPMorganChase Employee Performance Center signals a shift in corporate architecture: workplaces that invest in physical and mental resilience as foundational to business success.
