The team has achieved notable success in recent years, winning a BIG Ten Championship in 2022, with a record crowd of 5,000 spectators in attendance. In 2021, Rutgers University opened a new $60 million practice facility, featuring two grass training pitches, a state-of-the-art gym, locker rooms, and a video analysis room.Located within an hour's driving distance to three MLS teams (NYCFC, RBNY, and Philadelphia Union), the team has been selected as a host practice site for the 2024 Copa America and the 2026 World Cup, further solidifying its status as a top-tier soccer program.
