Who are we?
"Retro tech and sounds" is an Amazon original series looking at different kinds of media, gaming tv and music from the early 1970s to the late 2000s. This programme will be available to watch 19th June 2026 on "Prime Video". The series will have four episodes with each one looking over the four decades that are in-between the 70s and 00s. We plan to have an infinite amount of influences as we aim for a gen Z audience as we wish to bring nostalgia and remembrance to our audiences who will be 40 years or younger, as well as aiming for audiences who are interested in this topic and wish to learn about the history of "retro tech". Each episode will run for 20 minutes, where we will be using joyful, humorous and serious tones as we want to educate our audience but also like to make it enjoyable. Our compelling storyline will be sure to welcome you into our community making you finish the first episode and immediately make you want to continue the series even further. This programme is rated "PG" for parental guidance, for it's high quality and 4 episodes promising comedy, factual information and just enjoyment across each episode making sure that audiences won't be bored for even a second. You may be wondering "why are we going to enjoy this, so much?" well we believe that this programme has lots of originality but also relying on some of the elements that fans enjoy in this sort of genre. We also have set the tone to be exciting as we will be using and quoting different phrases that audiences from these specific decades would quote when they were younger, bringing in some nostalgic comedy which will be sure to grab our audiences attention. As well as bringing in our official merchandise which will be sure to make anyone feel comfort while wearing it coming in all you're favourite colours, only of course if you choose to watch our show.

Here are some of our props from behind the scenes. Each of them have their own unique purpose to make sure our audiences get a retro vibe when we bring these objects into our camera frame. Like how each of these props come from different films, games and music, but what you may not know is that these three images include the props that will be relevant to each of the episodes. For example the "Boba Fett" helmet representing the 80s era of the series or the "Kermit" puppet being part of the 70s era. The posts, as you can see on the image on the left, were designed by "Canva" it took 6-8 weeks to design them all before the launch. We had much joy designing them as we had full creative control and we were given the chance to engage with our audience even further finding out what they're most looking forward to and ask them all sorts of quirky questions.
