Collie Club of America Eastern Herding Regionals September 23-24, 2023 :: Birdsboro, Pennsylvania

On Saturday and Sunday September 23 and 24, 2023, the Collie Club of America Eastern Herding Regionals were held in Birdsboro, PA. The judges were Ann Marie Ely and Julie Degen.

On Saturday, there were nine collies in the three non-competitive tests: Instinct (five entries), Herding (one entry) and Pre-Trial (three entries). There were 11 competing in the competitive courses. High In Trial (Started A Sheep) was the four-year-old smooth dog, Kimegan Pride And Prejudice owned by Sabrina Wenrich and co-owned and bred by Cheryl Lang and Kim Kenney. He is sired by Quincy Coat Of Arms, out of Kimegan Leap Of Faith.

On Sunday, there were 10 collies in the three non-competitive tests: Instinct (seven entries), Herding (one entry) and Pre-Trial (two entries). There were 11 competing in the competitive courses. From Advanced B Ducks, Reserve High In Trial was the six-year-old rough dog, TC MACH3 Riverrun Galatean Wyndhams Top Contender VCD2 RN HSDs HXAds HXBd MXC MJC XF NFP owned by Michelle Shoemaker and bred by Mary Jackson. His sire is CH Riverrun Galatean Golden Lion and his dam is CH Riverrun Galatean A Singular Sensation.
