Faculty Workshops: Low-lift, High-impact Learning with Adobe Express
Description
This faculty workshop demonstrates how and why all faculty in all disciplines can leverage Adobe Express to transform teaching and learning across the curriculum for all students. We begin by demonstrating low-lift, high-impact approaches to authentic assessment and then share a wide array of teaching practices that scaffold from simple but powerful starting points.
The session is intended to enable instructors who have never used Adobe Express before to walk in the room with a current syllabus and walk out with a lesson plan that has everything needed to start immediately. We will also discuss and demonstrate appropriate, ethical approaches to Generative AI as a place to start JSU students on a pathway to AI literacy, fluency, and agility.
Participants will leave this session with a custom multimodal assignment prompt using Adobe Express in their classes to enable essential student learning outcomes. This session is equally appropriate for novice and expert teaching faculty, and no previous experience with Adobe Express is needed.
